Hello and congratulations to all couples on your recent engagement,


We are excited to extend our warmest congratulations on your engagement and thrilled that you are considering Prosperity Mansion & Farm as your outdoor / garden wedding venue. Frederick MD is a wonderful area to celebrate your wedding. There are ample hotels, sites to see, bistros, breweries, and shops that all embrace the historical arura of this amazing town. The Frederick MD visitors center will further provide what special activities may be happening on your wedding weekend. 


Why consider Prosperity Mansion and Farm"?

1) Price- we are typically 40% less expensive than most wedding venues

2) We offer THREE wedding packages to make us affordable

3) No Day of Coordinator required- MOST wedding venues now make it MANDATORY that you must hire a "Day of Coordinator". This comes at an additional cost of $1,200 to $3.000.  Make sure that you add that is in to the quote for the cost of the wedding venue. 

4) Restrooms are included- Some wedding venues require that you rent restrooms for your big day. Add $1,500 + to the original quotes for the wedding venue to now include restrooms.

5) Select your own vendors- We do have a preferred vendors list but absolutely allow outside vendors as long as they meet our simple requirements.

6) BYOB- We have two local liquor stores that will deliver anything that you want in coolers iced up and ready to go on your wedding day. They will return after last and refund you for anything that was unopened. Or you may bring your own.

7) A deposit will secure your date

8) Payment plans are available with zero % interest. 

9) No hidden costs- We do charge extra for the ceremony if you are getting married here. However, make sure you ask the wedding venue if there are any extra fees that are no covered in the initial quote.  I have heard from couples that once they met with a venue for a tour and leaned about all the things that cost extra that they could no longer afford them.



NOTE-For DREAM weddings held in July or August of 2026- 10% discount from the already discounted brochure prices!   Does not apply to other specials. Our season runs May through the 1st weekend of November.  

 


1)      Full day, DREAM weddings- From 20 to 200 guests and 8-10-12 hours

2)      Small / Micro Weddings- Up to 50 guests and 5-6 hours

3)      Courthouse Weddings / Intimate weddings / Elopements / Vow Renewals- From 2 to 30 guests and 1 to 2 hours
